Elephant Village Tour
The erstwhile Jaipur kingdom was having a huge army and Elephants were an integral part of military and royal processions. Later on when Elephants were no more employed in the Royal army, the elephant owners started to offer rides to the visitors coming to explore the Amber fort.
In order to provide Elephants a better place to live and provide them enough space for activities, the Government created a special Village to Accommodate Elephants and their owner families. This village is a kind of Rehabilitation Park for the Elephants and one can visit it to know about life style of Elephants and have a closer look at Human-Elephant interactions.

About This Tour
In this rescue village Elephants are living in Houses with their owner families and one can see people and Animals living together like a family.These Elephants owners are lively in close proximity with Elephants and taking care of them as family members. One can do many activities with Elephants like feeding, giving bath and taking a small ride in the village on the Elephant back. Often Elephants are colorfully decorated by their owner families. Trip gives you an insight into the living conditions of Elephants and their owners.
